FARO: Router settings for fibre broadband

    Use these settings when connecting your own router to FARO fibre broadband.

    Required settings

    • WAN connection type: DHCP.
    • VLAN ID: 10.
    • ONT port: connect your router WAN port to ONT port 1.

    Common mistakes

    • Using PPPoE instead of DHCP.
    • Missing VLAN tagging.
    • Using the wrong ONT port.
    • Plugging into a LAN port instead of the router WAN port.
